Friday Coffee Mornings

Coffee Bar 9.15-12pm

Every Friday morning St Giles’ is open for tea and coffee, toast, and tea cakes. Come along to chat with old friends, meet with new ones, or simply have somewhere to read the paper. Everyone welcome.

 

 

 

St Giles Church Mini-Market

Every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, 8.30am -11.45 am, Except Good Friday, Christmas & New Year.)

The Mini-Market is organised and manned by volunteers, who are church members and consists of a variety of stalls:

A Book Stall selling paper backs at 50p each or 3 for a £1 and hardbacks at £1 each , or individually priced.

A Habadashery stall, selling all items required for sewing and knitting eg knitting needles, patterns, wool,material,sewing and crochet needles etc. There is also a wide selection of hand-knitted baby and young children’s ware. Greeting and Birthday cards are available. Along side this is a selection of cs’s, dvd’s.

A General Stall, which sells good quality china-ware, such as Wedgewood & Royal Doulton etc, Jewellerey such as brooches braclets necklaces. New unwanted goods such as birthday cards , Christmas gifts, toiletries kitchen ware and any item in a good condition. We have a wide range of bri-a-brac from vases teapots pictures ornaments purses handbags etc.

We have a collection of jg saws abd soft toys.

Nothing is too little or too large for us to try and sell!

We are very grateful to everyone who has donated anything at all to our Friday morning stalls, not only other church members, but also regular visitors to our Friday mornings. THANK YOU ALL.

Money raised from the three stalls all goes towards the fund needed to maintain and repair our church organ, now and in the future.

Chapel Prayers

At 10.40am you are invited to a short service in the chapel, which includes a short talk and prayers. All are welcome
